We have an incredible opportunity to transform someone’s life and we need your support. Fatou, an aspiring medical interpreter, is seeking financial assistance to complete her medical interpretation training, and your contribution can make a significant impact.
Fatou possesses remarkable linguistic skills and a deep passion for connecting people through language. However, financial barriers have hindered her progress, preventing her from accessing the necessary resources for her education. Additionally, Fatou is about to be a new mom! By enrolling in this program, she is actively seeking long-lasting job opportunities that will enable her to afford a safe and suitable home for herself and her baby.
Fatou expressed the following about why she is pursuing the program: “I am taking the interpretation course so that I can be certified and be able to work with the certificate (get more jobs). I am doing medical interpretation in French so that I can help people with language barriers get as much help as they need (especially medically)” Fatou also has fun translating! Stating, “I love talking (which is one of the reasons why I want to be a professional interpreter!)”
